Hadith 4652
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِِدْرِيسَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ ، لا يُكْلَمُ أَحَدٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ، وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ يُكْلَمُ فِي سَبِيلِهِ ، أَلا جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَجُرْحُهُ يَنْثَعِبُ دَمًا ، اللَّوْنُ لَوْنُ دَمٍ ، وَالرِّيحُ رِيحُ مِسْكٍ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "By Him in Whose Hand is my soul, whoever is wounded in the way of Allah—and Allah knows best who is wounded in His way—then when that person comes on the Day of Resurrection, blood will be flowing from his wound, its color will be like the color of blood, but its fragrance will be like the fragrance of musk."
