Chapter on the Virtue of Spending in Allah's Cause - On the multiplication of reward for spending in Allah's cause over other acts
Hadith 4647
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَبَّانُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بن المبارك ، أَخْبَرَنَا زَائِدَةُ ، عَنِ الرُّكَيْنِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ ، عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ عَمِيلَةَ يَعْنِي أَبَاهُ ، عَنْ يَسِيرِ بْنِ عَمِيلَةَ ، عَنْ خُرَيْمِ بْنِ فَاتِكٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ أَنْفَقَ نَفَقَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ، كُتِبَ لَهُ سَبْعُ مِائَةِ ضِعْفٍ " .
Sayyiduna Khuraim bin Fatik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Whoever spends anything in the way of Allah, its reward is recorded for him up to seven hundred times."
