Hadith 4643
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَبَّانُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ صَعْصَعَةَ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَمِّ الأَحْنَفِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، قَالَ : قَدِمْتُ الرَّبَذَةَ فَلَقِيتُ أَبَا ذَرٍّ ، فَقُلْتُ : يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ ، مَا مَالُكَ ؟ قَالَ : مَالِي عَمَلِي . قُلْتُ : يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ ، أَلا تُحَدِّثُنِي حَدِيثًا سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ قَالَ : بَلَى . سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمَيْنِ يَمُوتُ لَهُمَا ثَلاثَةٌ مِنَ الْوَلَدِ لَمْ يَبْلُغُوا الْحِنْثَ إِِلا أَدْخَلَهُمَا اللَّهُ الْجَنَّةَ بِفَضْلِ رَحْمَتِهِ إِِيَّاهُمْ " . وَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " مَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ أَنْفَقَ زَوْجَيْنِ مِنْ مَالِهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ، إِِلا ابْتَدَرَتْهُ حَجَبَةُ الْجَنَّةِ " . قُلْتُ : وَمَا زَوْجَانِ مِنْ مَالِهِ ؟ قَالَ : عَبْدَانِ مِنْ رَقِيقِهِ ، فَرْسَانِ مِنْ خَيْلِهِ ، بَعِيرَانِ مِنْ إِِبِلِهِ .
Sa’sa’ah bin Mu’awiyah, who is the uncle of Ahnaf bin Qais, narrates: I came to Rabdhah where I met Sayyiduna Abu Dharr Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him). I asked: O Abu Dharr! What is your wealth? He replied: My wealth is my deeds. I said: O Abu Dharr, will you not narrate to me any hadith that you heard from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)? He replied: Yes, I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: “If three children of any two Muslims (i.e., a Muslim husband and wife) die before reaching puberty, Allah, out of His grace for those children, will admit both (the husband and wife) into Paradise.” I also heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: “Whoever spends a pair of anything from his wealth in the way of Allah, the gatekeepers of Paradise rush towards him.” (The narrator says) I asked: What is meant by a pair of anything from wealth? He replied: That he frees two slaves from among his slaves, or gives two horses from among his horses, or gives two camels from among his camels.
