باب فضل الجهاد - ذكر البيان بأن المجهز إنما يأخذ كحسنات الغازي من أجر غزاته تلك حتى يكون له مثل أجره من غير أن ينقص من أجر الغازي شيء وكذلك الخالف في أهله بخير-
Chapter on the Virtue of Jihad - On clarifying that the outfitter gets the fighter's reward without reducing the fighter's share, as does the caretaker
Hadith 4633
أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ مُسَرْهَدٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى الْقَطَّانِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءٌ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ، أَوْ خَلْفَهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ كُتِبَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ ، غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لا يَنْقُصُ مِنْ أَجْرِهِ شَيْءٌ ، وَمَنْ فَطَّرَ صَائِمًا كُتِبَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ ، لا يَنْقُصُ مِنْ أَجْرِهِ شَيْءٌ " .
Sayyiduna Zayd bin Khalid al-Juhani رضي الله عنه narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم: "Whoever equips a person fighting in the way of Allah or looks after his family in his absence, he will also receive a reward like that of the fighter, but the reward of the fighter will not be diminished in any way. And if someone gives iftar to a fasting person, he will also receive a reward like that of the fasting person, and the reward of the fasting person will not be diminished in any way."
