Hadith 4630
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ، أَوْ خَلْفَهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ ، كُتِبَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ ، حَتَّى إِِنَّهُ لا يَنْقُصُ مِنْ أَجْرِ الْغَازِي شَيْءٌ " .
Sayyiduna Zayd bin Khalid al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever equips a fighter in the way of Allah, or looks after his family in his absence, he will receive a reward like that of the fighter, without any reduction in the fighter’s reward."
