Hadith 4581
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَوْنٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا فَيَّاضُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِِنَّ لِي عَلَى قُرَيْشٍ حَقًّا ، وَإِِنَّ لِقُرَيْشٍ عَلَيْكُمْ حَقًّا مَا حَكَمُوا وَعَدَلُوا وَائْتُمِنُوا ، فَأَدُّوا وَاسْتُرْحِمُوا فَرَحِمُوا ، فَمَنْ لَمْ يَفْعَلْ مِنْهُمْ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, I have a right over the Quraysh, and the Quraysh have a right over you people. When they judge, let them do so with justice; when they are entrusted with something, let them fulfill the trust; and when mercy is sought from them, let them show mercy. Whoever does not do so, the curse of Allah shall be upon him."
