Chapter on Caliphate and Leadership - On the clarification that even if rulers have faults, religion may still be supported through them
Hadith 4517
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عِيسَى بْنِ السُّكَيْنِ بِوَاسِطَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِِسْحَاقُ بْنُ زُرَيْقٍ الرَّسْعَنِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا رَبَاحُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلابَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَيُؤَيِّدَنَّ اللَّهُ هَذَا الدِّينَ بِقَوْمٍ لا خَلاقَ لَهُمْ " .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Soon Allah Almighty will support this religion through people who will have no share (in the Hereafter)."
