Hadith 4505
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى بِالْمَوْصِلِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنّ رَجُلا كَانَ يَجْعَلُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ النَّخَلاتِ مِنْ أَرْضِهِ ، حَتَّى فُتِحَتْ عَلَيْهِ قُرَيْظَةُ وَالنَّضِيرُ ، فَجَعَلَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ يَرُدُّ عَلَيْهِ مَا كَانَ أَعْطَاهُ " . قَالَ أَنَسٌ : وَإِِنَّ أَهْلِي أَمَرُونِي أَنْ آتِيَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَسْأَلَهُ مَا كَانَ أَعْطَاهُ أَوْ بَعْضَهُ ، وَكَانَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ أَعْطَاهُ أُمَّ أَيْمَنَ ، فَأَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَعْطَانِيهِنَّ ، فَجَاءَتْ أُمُّ أَيْمَنَ فَجَعَلَتِ الثَّوْبَ فِي عُنُقِي ، وَقَالَتْ : وَاللَّهِ لا يُعْطِيكَهُنَّ وَقَدْ أَعْطَانِيهُنَّ . قَالَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَا أُمَّ أَيْمَنَ ، اتْرُكِي وَلَكِ كَذَا وَكَذَا " . فَتَقُولُ : كَلا وَالَّذِي لا إِِلَهَ إِِلا هُوَ ، حَتَّى أَعْطَاهَا عَشْرَةَ أَمْثَالِهِ أَوْ قَرِيبًا مِنْ عَشْرَةِ أَمْثَالِهِ .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man used to present the produce of his date-palm land to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), until when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) conquered Qurayzah and Nadir, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) returned the gift to that man which he had presented to him. Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: My family used to instruct me to go to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and ask him for whatever he gave to someone or to ask for a portion of it. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was giving something to Sayyidah Umm Ayman (may Allah be pleased with her). I went to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he gave those (dates or things) to me. Then Umm Ayman (may Allah be pleased with her) came, and she had a cloth around my neck. She said: By Allah! (O Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him) you cannot give these (dates or things) to him when you have already given them to me. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Umm Ayman, leave him; you will get these, these things. But that woman kept saying: Never, by the One besides whom there is no deity (I will not leave him). Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says: Until the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave her ten times more or nearly ten times as much from those dates (or things), (then she left Sayyiduna Anas, may Allah be pleased with him).
