Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Eight people from the tribe of ‘Ukl came to the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). They accepted Islam at the blessed hand of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The climate of that area did not suit them, and their bodies became ill. So the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Why do you not go with our shepherd to the camels? There, drink their milk and urine. They said: Alright. Then those people left (and went there). There, they drank the milk and urine of the camels. When they became healthy, they killed the shepherd of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and took the camels away. When this news reached the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he sent some people after them. They caught them. By the order of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), their hands and feet were cut off, hot iron rods were passed through their eyes, and they were thrown in the sun until they died in that state.
