ذكر الأمر بقضاء نذر الناذر إذا مات قبل أن يفي بنذره-
Instruction to fulfill the vow of a deceased person if they died before fulfilling it
Hadith 4393
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِِدْرِيسَ الأَنْصَارِيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنَّ سَعْدَ بْنَ عُبَادَةَ اسْتَفْتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : إِِنَّ " أُمِّي مَاتَتْ وَعَلَيْهَا نَذَرٌ لَمْ تَقْضِهِ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : اقْضِهِ عَنْهَا " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: Sayyiduna Sa’d bin Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about an issue: He said, "My mother has passed away and she had a vow upon her which she did not fulfill." So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Fulfill it on her behalf."
