Hadith 4388
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ زُهَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ نَاصِحٍ الْخَلاَّلُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، وَأَيُّوبَ السَّخْتِيَانِيِّ ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يُطِيعَ اللَّهَ فَلْيُطِعْهُ ، وَمَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَعْصِيَ اللَّهَ فَلا يَعْصِهِ " .
Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates this statement of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever makes a vow to obey Allah, he should obey Him; and whoever makes a vow to disobey Allah, he should not disobey Him."
