ذكر الزجر عن أن يحلف المرء بشيء سوى الله جل وعلا-
Prohibition of swearing by anything other than Allah
Hadith 4358
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْجُعْفِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ النَّخَعِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ ، قَالَ : كُنْتُ عِنْدَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ فَحَلَفَ رَجُلٌ بِالْكَعْبَةِ ، فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ : وَيْحَكَ لا تَفْعَلْ ، فَإِِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " مَنْ حَلَفَ بِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ أَشْرَكَ " .
Sa’d bin Ubaidah reports: I was present with Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) when a man swore an oath by the name of the Ka’bah. Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said: Woe to you, do not do so, for I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: “Whoever swears an oath by other than Allah has indeed committed shirk (associating partners with Allah).”
