Recommendation to swear by the Lord of Muhammad (peace be upon him)
Hadith 4331
أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ بِالصُّغْدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِِسْمَاعِيلَ الْبُخَارِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَخِي ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بِلالٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا يَخْفَى عَلَيَّ حِينَ تَكُونِينَ غَضْبَى وَحِينَ تَكُونِينَ رَاضِيَةً ، إِِذَا كُنْتِ غَضْبَى ، قُلْتِ : لا وَرَبِّ إِِبْرَاهِيمَ ، وَإِِذَا كُنْتِ رَاضِيَةً ، قُلْتُ : لا وَرَبِّ مُحَمَّدٍ " . فَقُلْتُ : صَدَقْتَ ، إِِنَّمَا أَهْجُرُ اسْمَكَ . قَالَتْ : فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَرَأَيْتَ لَوَ نَزَلْتَ وَادِيًا فِيهِ شَجَرٌ كَثِيرٌ قَدْ أُكِلَ مِنْهَا ، وَوَجَدْتَ شَجَرَةً لَمْ يُؤْكَلْ مِنْهَا ، فِي أَيِّهَا كُنْتَ تَرْتَعُ بَعِيرَكَ ؟ قَالَ : " فِي الَّذِي لَمْ يُرْتَعْ فِيهَا " . تُرِيدُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يَتَزَوَّجْ بِكْرًا غَيْرَهَا .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: It does not remain hidden from me when you are angry with me and when you are pleased with me. When you are angry, you say, "By the Lord of Ibrahim (peace be upon him)," and when you are pleased, you say, "By the Lord of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)." So I said: You have spoken the truth, but I only leave out your name. Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! What is your opinion about this: If you camp in a valley where there are many trees from which (animals) have eaten, and there you find a tree from which nothing has been eaten, where would you let your camel graze? The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: By the tree from which nothing has been eaten. Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) meant: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) did not marry any virgin woman other than her.
