Hadith 4309
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ بِنَسَا ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زَنْجُوَيْهِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ ، عَنْ مَعْدَانَ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ السُّلَمِيِّ ، قَالَ : حَاصَرْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الطَّائِفَ ، وَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " أَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ أَعْتَقَ رَجُلا مُسْلِمًا ، فَإِِنَّ اللَّهَ جَلَّ وَعَلا جَاعِلٌ وِقَاءَ كُلِّ عَظْمٍ مِنْ عِظَامِ مُحَرِّرِهِ عَظْمًا مِنْ عِظَامِهِ مِنَ النَّارِ ، وَأَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ مَسْلَمَةٍ أَعْتَقَتِ امْرَأَةً مَسْلَمَةً ، فَإِِنَّ اللَّهَ جَلَّ وَعَلا جَاعِلٌ وِقَاءَ كُلِّ عَظْمٍ مِنْ عِظَامِ مُحَرِّرِهَا عَظْمًا مِنْ عِظَامِهَا مِنَ النَّارِ " . قَالَ الشَّيْخُ : أَبُو نَجِيحٍ هُوَ عَمْرُو بْنُ عَبَسَةَ .
Sayyiduna Abu Najeeh Salimi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: We were besieging Ta’if along with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: “Whoever among the Muslims frees a Muslim, Allah Almighty will, in exchange for every bone of the freed person, protect every bone of the one who freed him from Hell. And if a Muslim woman frees a Muslim woman, Allah Almighty will, in exchange for every bone of the freed woman, protect every bone of the one who freed her from Hell.” The Sheikh states: Abu Najeeh’s name is Amr bin Abasah.
