كتاب الرضاعBook of Breastfeeding
ذكر قدر الرضاع الذي يحرم من أرضع في السنتين الرضاع المعلوم-
Amount of breastfeeding that prohibits if done within two years
Hadith 4221
أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " نَزَلَ الْقُرْآنُ بِعَشْرِ رَضَعَاتٍ مَعْلُومَاتٍ يُحَرِّمْنَ ، ثُمَّ نُسِخْنَ بِخَمْسِ رَضَعَاتٍ مَعْلُومَاتٍ ، فَتُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُنَّ مِمَّا نَقْرَأُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ " .
Sayyida Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The command was revealed in the Qur'an that prohibition is established by ten specified times of suckling, then this command was abrogated and changed to five specified times. When the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, this command was included among the verses of the Qur'an which we used to recite.
Hadith 4222
أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : " كَانَ فِيمَا أُنْزِلَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ عَشْرُ رَضَعَاتٍ مَعْلُومَاتٍ يُحَرِّمْنَ ، ثُمَّ نُسِخْنَ بِخَمْسٍ مَعْلُومَاتٍ ، فَتُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُنَّ مِمَّا نَقْرَأُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ " .
Mother of the Believers, Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The command was revealed in the Qur'an that prohibition is established by ten specified instances of breastfeeding, then this command was abrogated and changed to five specified instances. When the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, these verses were among those things which we used to recite in the Qur'an.
