ذكر البيان بأن عقبة فارقها وتزوجت آخر غيره حين قال له النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم دعها عنك-
Clarifying that ‘Uqbah divorced her and she married another after the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) command
Hadith 4218
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَبَّانُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، أَنَّهُ تَزَوَّجَ ابْنَةً لأَبِي إِِهَابِ بْنِ عَزِيزٍ ، فَأَتَتْهُ امْرَأَةٌ ، فَقَالَتْ لَهُ : قَدْ أَرْضَعْتُ عُقْبَةَ وَالَّتِي تَزَوَّجَ . فَقَالَ لَهَا عُقْبَةُ : مَا أَعْلَمُ أَنَّكِ أَرْضَعْتِينِي وَلا أَخْبَرْتِينِي ، فَأَرْسَلَ إِِلَى آلِ أَبِي إِِهَابٍ ، فَسَأَلَهُمْ ، فَقَالُوا : مَا عَلِمْنَاهَا أَرْضَعَتْ صَاحِبَتَنَا . فَرَكِبَ إِِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَسَأَلَهُ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " كَيْفَ وَقَدْ قِيلَ ؟ " فَفَارَقَهَا عُقْبَةُ ، وَنَكَحَتْ زَوْجًا غَيْرَهُ .
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: He married the daughter of Abu Wahab bin Aziz. A woman came to him and said: I have suckled Uqbah and also the woman whom he has married. So Uqbah said to this woman: I have no knowledge that you have suckled me, nor did you ever tell me about this before. Then Uqbah sent a message to the family of Abu Wahab and inquired about this matter from them. They also replied that they had no knowledge that this woman had suckled the girl. Then Sayyiduna Uqbah rode and went to the service of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) in Madinah and asked about this matter. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: What can be done now when this has already been stated? So Sayyiduna Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him) separated from that woman, and the woman married someone else.
