ذكر الأمر للمرء مفارقة أهله إذا شهدت عنده امرأة عدلة أنها أرضعتهما-
Command to separate from one’s wife if a trustworthy woman testifies to breastfeeding
Hadith 4216
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ الْبَزَّارُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، قَالَ : " تَزَوَّجْتُ أُمَّ يَحْيَى بِنْتَ أَبِي إِِهَابٍ ، فَدَخَلَتْ عَلَيْنَا امْرَأَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ فَذَكَرَتْ أَنَّهَا أَرْضَعَتْنَا جَمِيعًا ، فَأَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لَهُ ، فَقَالَ : " كَيْفَ بِهَا وَقَدْ قَالَتْ مَا قَالَتْ ؟ دَعْهَا عَنْكَ " .
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I married Umm Yahya bint Abu Wahab. A black woman came to us and mentioned that she had breastfed both of us (husband and wife). I went to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and mentioned this matter. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: What can be done now when this woman has stated this? So you should leave this woman (i.e., your wife).
