Chapter: Marital relations – Forbidding a woman from allowing anyone into her house without her husband’s permission
Hadith 4168
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَظِيمِ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا تَأْذَنِ الْمَرْأَةُ فِي بَيْتِ زَوْجِهَا وَهُوَ شَاهِدٌ إِلا بِإِذْنِهِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "When a woman's husband is present at home, she should not allow anyone to enter her husband's house without his permission."
