Chapter: Marital relations – Guarantee of Paradise for a woman who obeys her husband and fulfills God’s obligations
Hadith 4163
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُوسَى الْجَوَالِيقِيُّ بِعَسْكَرِ مُكْرَمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا دَاهِرُ بْنُ نُوحٍ الأَهْوَازِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هَمَّامٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الزِّبْرِقَانِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا صَلَّتِ الْمَرْأَةُ خُمُسَهَا ، وَصَامَتْ شَهْرَهَا ، وَحَصَّنَتْ فَرْجَهَا ، وَأَطَاعَتْ بَعْلَهَا دَخَلَتْ مِنْ أَيِّ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ شَاءَتْ " ، قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ : تَفَرَّدَ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، وَمَا رَوَاهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ إِلا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ وَهُوَ شَيْخُ الأَهْوَازِيِّ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a woman offers her five prayers, fasts in Ramadan, protects her chastity, and obeys her husband, she will enter Paradise from whichever gate of Paradise she wishes." (Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) In narrating this hadith from Abu Salamah, Abdul Malik bin Umair is unique, and from Abdul Malik, only Hudayyah bin Minhal has narrated it, and he is an elderly man from Ahwaz.
