Hadith 4160
أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْعُمَرِيُّ بِالْمَوْصِلِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُعَلَّى بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا تُبَاشِرِ الْمَرْأَةُ الْمَرْأَةَ كَأَنَّهَا تَنْعَتُهَا لِزَوْجِهَا ، أَوْ تَصِفُهَا لِرَجُلٍ كَأَنَّهُ يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهَا " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No woman should describe another woman in such a way to her husband as if she is portraying her appearance or describing her attributes so that it seems to the man as if he is looking at that woman."
