Hadith 4151
أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ مُجَاشِعٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعُمَيْسِ ، عَنْ إِيَاسِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الأَكْوَعِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : " رَخَّصَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَامَ أَوْطَاسٍ فِي الْمُتْعَةِ ثَلاثًا ، ثُمَّ نَهَانَا عَنْهَا " ، قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ : عَامُ أَوْطَاسٍ وَعَامُ الْفَتْحِ وَاحِدٌ .
Iyas bin Salamah narrates from his father: In the year of the Battle of Autas, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) granted us permission to contract temporary marriage (mut'ah) for three days, then he forbade us from it. (Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) The Battle of Autas and the Conquest of Makkah took place in the same year.
