Hadith 4144
أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَوْضِيُّ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ سَبْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " رَخَّصَ فِي مُتْعَةِ النِّسَاءِ ، فَأَتَيْتُهُ بَعْدَ ثَلاثٍ ، فَإِذَا هُوَ يُحَرِّمُهَا أَشَدَّ التَّحْرِيمِ ، وَيَقُولُ فِيهَا أَشَدَّ الْقَوْلِ " .
Rabi’ bin Sabrah narrates from his father: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) permitted temporary marriage (Nikah Mut’ah) with women. After three days, I presented myself before the Prophet (peace be upon him), and he had already strictly forbidden it and had issued the strictest command regarding this matter.
