Hadith 4091
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْجُنَيْدِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، وَعَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ صُهَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَعْتَقَ صَفِيَّةَ ، وَجَعَلَ عِتْقَهَا صَدَاقَهَا " .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) set Lady Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) free and made her freedom her dowry.
Hadith 4092
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " أَحَقُّ الشُّرُوطِ أَنْ يُوَفَّى بِهِ مَا اسْتَحْلَلْتُمْ بِهِ الْفُرُوجَ " ، قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ : أَبُو الْخَيْرِ : مَرْثَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْيَزَنِيُّ .
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "The condition most deserving to be fulfilled is that by which you make private parts lawful (i.e., the marriage contract)." (Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) The narrator named Abu al-Khair is Marthad bin Abdullah Yazni.
