- ذكر البيان بأن المرأة إذا وقع في خلدها بعض ما ذكرت لها أن تنكح دون سؤالها طلاق أختها
Clarifying that if a woman merely thinks of marrying, she should not ask for her sister’s divorce
Hadith 4069
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لا تَسْأَلِ الْمَرْأَةُ طَلاقَ أُخْتِهَا لِتَسْتَفْرِغَ مَا فِي صَحْفَتِهَا ، وَلِتُنْكَحَ ، فَإِنَّ لَهَا مَا قُدِّرَ لَهَا " .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No woman should demand the divorce of her (prospective husband's) sister (i.e., the man's first wife) in order to obtain all of her share of blessings for herself. She should marry, for she will get only what is destined for her."
