Hadith 4064
أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ الطَّائِيُّ بِمَنْبِجَ ، وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ بِطَرَسُوسَ شَيْخَانِ عَابِدَانِ فَاضِلانِ ، قَالا : حَدَّثَنَا حَامِدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْبَلْخِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ دَاوُدَ ، عَنِ ابْنِهِ بَكْرِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَوْلَمَ عَلَى صَفِيَّةَ بِسَوِيقٍ وَتَمْرٍ " .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) served sattu (roasted barley flour) and dates at the wedding feast (walima) after marrying Sayyidah Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her).
