Hadith 4061
أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَامِدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْبَلْخِيُّ ، وَابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ الْعَدَنِيُّ ، قَالا : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ دَاوُدَ ، عَنِ ابْنِهِ بَكْرِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَوْلَمَ عَلَى صَفِيَّةَ بِسَوِيقٍ وَتَمْرٍ " .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) served sattu (barley porridge) and dates at the walima (wedding feast) after marrying Sayyidah Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her).
