Hadith 4043
أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَظِيمِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنَّ الْمُغِيرَةَ بْنَ شُعْبَةَ خَطَبَ امْرَأَةً ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اذْهَبْ فَانْظُرْ إِلَيْهَا فَإِنَّهُ أَجْدَرُ أَنْ يُؤْدَمَ بَيْنَكُمَا " .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Mughirah bin Shu'bah (may Allah be pleased with him) sent a marriage proposal to a woman, so the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: Go and look at that woman, for this is more likely to create love between you both.
