Hadith 4030
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَجْلانَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " ثَلاثَةٌ حَقٌّ عَلَى اللَّهِ أَنْ يُعِينَهُمُ : الْمُجَاهِدُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ، وَالنَّاكِحُ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَسْتَعِفَّ ، وَالْمُكَاتَبُ يُرِيدُ الأَدَاءَ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): There are three people for whom it is incumbent upon Allah to help them: the mujahid who strives in the way of Allah, the person who marries seeking chastity, and the mukatab slave who intends to pay off (his contract).
