Chapter on Sacrificial Animals – On the Report Refuting the Claim That the One Sending and Marking the Sacrificial Animal Must Enter Ihram Whether Intending Hajj or Not
Hadith 4012
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " كُنْتُ أَفْتِلُ قَلائِدَ هَدْيِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَيَبْعَثُ بِهَا ، ثُمَّ لا يَجْتَنِبُ شَيْئًا مِمَّا يَجْتَنِبُهُ الْمُحْرِمُ " .
Sayyida Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I used to prepare necklaces for the sacrificial animals of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) would send them, and after that, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) would not avoid anything that a person in the state of Ihram avoids.
