Hadith 3971
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الإِسْكَنْدَرَانِيُّ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو ، عَنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " صَيْدُ الْبِرِّ حَلالٌ مَا لَمْ تَصِيدُوهُ ، أَوْ يُصَادْ لَكُمْ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "The game of the land is lawful (for a person in Ihram) as long as you did not hunt it or it was not hunted for you."
