Chapter on What Is Permitted and Not Permitted for the Muhrim – On Permitting the Muhrim to Treat His Eyes If They Are Sore
Hadith 3954
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الطَّالَقَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى ، عَنْ نُبَيْهِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ أَخْبَرَهُ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ ، عَنْ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَنَّ الْمُحْرِمَ إِذَا اشْتَكَى عَيْنَهُ ضَمَّدَهَا بِالصَّبِرِ " .
Sayyiduna Uthman Ghani (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this about the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): (The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:) When a person in the state of Ihram has pain in his eyes, he can apply aloe to them.
