Chapter on Qiran – On the Place Where the Prophet Commanded Them as Previously Described After Their Initial Ihlal for Umrah
Hadith 3918
أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَفْلَحُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الْقَاسِمَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي أَشْهُرِ الْحَجِّ ، وَلَيَالِي الْحَجِّ ، وَحَرَمِ الْحَجِّ حَتَّى نَزَلْنَا بِسَرِفٍ ، قَالَتْ : فَخَرَجَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى أَصْحَابِهِ ، فَقَالَ : " مَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ مَعَهُ هَدْيٌ ، وَأَحَبَّ أَنْ يَجْعَلَهَا عَمْرَةً فَلْيَفْعَلْ ، وَمَنْ كَانَ مَعَهُ الْهَدْيُ ، فَلا " ، قَالَتْ : فَالآخِذُ بِهَا ، وَالتَّارِكُ لَهَا مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ ، قَالَتْ : فَأَمَّا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَرِجَالٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ ، فَكَانُوا أَهْلَ قُوَّةٍ ، فَكَانَ مَعَهُمُ الْهَدْيُ ، فَلَمْ يَقْدِرُوا عَلَى الْعُمْرَةِ ، قَالَتْ : فَدَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَأَنَا أَبْكِي ، فَقَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا يُبْكِيكِ يَا هَنْتَاهُ ؟ " ، قُلْتُ : قَدْ سَمِعْتُ قَوْلُكَ لأَصْحَابِكَ ، فَمُنِعْتُ الْعُمْرَةَ ، قَالَ : " وَمَا شَأْنُكِ ؟ " ، قَالَتْ : لا أُصَلِّي ، قَالَ : " فَلا يَضُرُّكِ ، إِنَّمَا أَنْتِ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ بَنَاتِ آدَمِ ، كَتَبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكِ مَا كَتَبَ عَلَيْهِنَّ ، فَكُونِي فِي حَجَّتِكِ ، فَعَسَى أَنْ تُدْرِكِيهَا " ، قَالَتْ : فَخَرَجْنَا فِي حَجِّهِ حَتَّى قَدِمْنَا مِنًى ، فَطَهَرْتُ ، ثُمَّ خَرَجْتُ مِنْ مِنًى فَأَفَضْتُ الْبَيْتَ ، قَالَتْ : ثُمَّ خَرَجْتُ مَعَهُ فِي النَّفْرِ الآخَرِ حَتَّى نَزَلَ الْمُحَصَّبُ ، وَنَزَلْنَا مَعَهُ ، فَدَعَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، فَقَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اخْرُجْ بِأُخْتِكَ مِنَ الْحَرَمِ ، فَلْتُهِلَّ بِعُمْرَةٍ ، ثُمَّ افْرُغَا ، ثُمَّ ائْتِيَا هُنَا ، فَإِنِّي أَنْظُرُكُمَا حَتَّى تَأْتِيَانِي " ، قَالَتْ : فَخَرَجْتُ لِذَلِكَ حَتَّى فَرَغْتُ ، وَفَرَغْتُ مِنَ الطَّوَافِ ، ثُمَّ جِئْتُهُ سَحْرًا ، فَقَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " هَلْ فَرَغْتُمْ ؟ " ، قُلْتُ : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : فَأَذِنَ بِالرَّحِيلِ فِي أَصْحَابِهِ ، فَارْتَحَلَ النَّاسُ ، فَمَرَّ بِالْبَيْتِ قَبْلَ صَلاةِ الصُّبْحِ ، فَطَافَ بِهِ ، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ ، فَرَكِبَ ، ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ مُتَوَجِّهًا إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: We set out during the months of Hajj, in the nights of Hajj, in the sacred (specified season) for Hajj, along with the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). When we camped at the place of Sarif, Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) went to his companions and said: Whoever does not have a sacrificial animal and wants to convert it into Umrah may do so, and whoever has a sacrificial animal cannot do so. Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Some people stopped and some people abandoned it. Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: As for the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and some individuals who were well-off and had a sacrificial animal with them, they could not (end the state of Ihram after performing) Umrah. Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) came to me, and I was crying. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) asked: Why are you crying? I replied: I heard your statement that you made to your companions, but I cannot perform Umrah. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) asked: Why, what has happened to you? I replied: I cannot perform prayer. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: There is no harm to you. You are a woman from among the daughters of Adam. Allah Almighty has decreed for you what He has decreed for them. Continue with your Hajj. Soon you will be able to perform it (i.e., Umrah). Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: We set out for Hajj until we reached Mina and I became pure. Then I left Mina and performed the Tawaf Ifadah of the House of Allah. Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Then I set out with the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in the final departure until the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) camped in the valley of Muhassab. We also camped with him. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) called Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: Take your sister outside the Haram and let her put on the Ihram for Umrah. When you both are finished, come back here; I will wait for you both until you return. Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: At that time, I set out until I (completed Umrah) and finished the Tawaf, then I came to you at the time of Suhoor. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: Have you finished? I replied: Yes. Then the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) ordered his companions to depart. We prepared for departure. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) passed by the House of Allah before the morning prayer, performed its Tawaf, then departed (from Makkah) and set out towards Madinah.
