Hadith 3906
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، يَسْأَلُ السَّائِبَ بْنَ يَزِيدَ : مَا سَمِعْتَ فِيَ سُكْنَى مَكَّةَ ؟ ، فَقَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي الْعَلاءُ بْنُ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لِلْمُهَاجِرِ ثَلاثًا بَعْدَ الصَّدَرِ " .
Abdur Rahman bin Humaid narrates: I heard Umar bin Abdul Aziz asking Saib bin Yazid about what he had heard regarding residing in Makkah. He replied: Alaa bin Hadrami narrated this hadith to me that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "A person coming from outside may stay (in Makkah) for three days after performing the Farewell Tawaf."
