Section – On a Second Report Explicitly Confirming What Was Mentioned
Hadith 3905
أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : حَاضَتْ صَفِيَّةُ بِنْتُ حُيَيٍّ بَعْدَمَا أَفَاضَتْ ، قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ : فَذِكْرُتُ حَيْضَتَهَا لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَحَابِسَتُنَا هِيَ ؟ " ، فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنَّهَا قَدْ أَفَاضَتْ ، وَطَافَتْ بِالْبَيْتِ ، ثُمَّ حَاضَتْ بَعْدَ الإِفَاضَةِ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " فَلْتَنْفِرْ " .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Lady Safiyyah bint Huyayy (may Allah be pleased with her) experienced menstruation after performing the Tawaf al-Ifadah. Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I mentioned her menstruation to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) inquired: Will we have to stay because of this? I said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! She has already performed the Tawaf al-Ifadah; she experienced menstruation after performing the Tawaf al-Ifadah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Then she may depart.
