Section – On Permitting a Menstruating Woman to Leave If She Performed Tawaf al-Ziyarah Before Seeing Blood
Hadith 3902
أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ : أَنَّ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتَ حُيَيٍّ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَاضَتْ ، فَذُكِرَ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : " أَحَابِسَتُنَا هِيَ ؟ " ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ : إِنَّهَا قَدْ أَفَاضَتْ ، قَالَ : " فَلا إِذًا " .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The noble wife of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), Lady Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her), began menstruating. This matter was mentioned to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), so the Prophet (peace be upon him) asked: "Will we have to stop because of this?" He was informed that she had already performed the Tawaf al-Ifadah. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Then there is no harm."
