Departing from Mina for Tawaf al-Ziyarah – On the Recommendation That Whoever Departs from Mina Should Not Pray Dhuhr Except There
Hadith 3885
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السَّامِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ : " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَفَاضَ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ ، ثُمَّ رَجَعَ ، فَصَلَّى الظُّهْرَ بِمِنًى " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) went out on the day of sacrifice, then he returned and performed the Zuhr prayer in Mina.
