Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates from Sayyiduna Fadl bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): He, who was riding behind the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) on the mount, narrates: On the evening of Arafah and the morning of Muzdalifah, when departing, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said to the people: "You should proceed calmly." The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) himself was also making his she-camel walk at a gentle pace. In the valley of Muhassir, the Prophet (peace be upon him) made his she-camel go a little faster. This valley is a part of Mina. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "It is obligatory upon you to pick such small pebbles which can be held between the fingers; these are to be thrown at the Jamarat." Sayyiduna Fadl bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) continued to recite the Talbiyah until he stoned the Jamrah.
