Hadith 3869
أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي سَلَمَةُ بْنُ كُهَيْلٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ الْعُرَنِيِّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَدِمْنَا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ الْمُزْدَلِفَةِ أُغَيْلِمَةَ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ عَلَى حُمُرَاتٍ ، فَجَعَلَ يَلْطَحُ بِأَفْخَاذِنَا ، وَيَقُولُ : " أُبَيْنِيَّ لا تَرْمُوا الْجَمْرَةَ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: We, a group of young men from Banu Abd al-Muttalib, came from Muzdalifah to the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) near the Jamarat. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), striking his hand on our knees, said: O my sons! Do not throw pebbles at the Jamarat until the sun has risen.
