Standing at Arafat and Muzdalifah and Departing from Them – On the Recommendation for the Imam to Send Ahead the Weak Members of His Family from Muzdalifah at Night
Hadith 3867
أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي الْحَوَارِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ أَبِي يُقَدِّمُ ضَعَفَةَ أَهْلِهِ مِنَ الْمُزْدَلِفَةِ إِلَى مِنًى ، وَيَذْكُرُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَفْعَلُهُ " .
Salim narrates: My father (Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both) used to send the weak members of his family towards Mina before (the people departed from) Muzdalifah. He used to mention this: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also did the same.
