Hadith 3863
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بِبُسْتَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ، يَقُولُ : " بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ جَمْعٍ بِلَيْلٍ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Messenger of Allah sent me from Muzdalifah at night.
Hadith 3864
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَعْشَرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ السُّوسِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : لَوَدِدْتُ أَنِّي كُنْتُ اسْتَأْذَنْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَمَا اسْتَأْذَنَتْ سَوْدَةُ ، فَأُصَلِّيَ الصُّبْحَ بِمِنًى ، وَأَرْمِي الْجَمْرَةَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ النَّاسُ ، فَقُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ : وَكَانَتْ سَوْدَةُ اسْتَأْذَنَتْهُ ؟ ، قَالَتْ : " نَعَمْ إِنَّهَا كَانَتِ امْرَأَةً ثَقِيلَةً ثَبِطَةً ، فَاسْتَأْذَنَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَذِنَ لَهَا " .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I wish that I had also taken permission from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in the same way as Lady Sawda (may Allah be pleased with her) did, and I would have performed the Fajr prayer in Mina and stoned the Jamrah before the people arrived. The narrator says: I asked Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): Did Lady Sawda (may Allah be pleased with her) take permission from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)? She replied: Yes, she was a heavyset woman, so she asked the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) for permission, and the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) granted her permission.
