Entering Mecca - Clarification that the Prophet (peace be upon him) drank Zamzam water during tawaf
Hadith 3838
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَوْنٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَجَرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الأَحْوَلِ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : " سَقَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ مَاءِ زَمْزَمَ ، فَشَرِبَهُ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: I presented Zamzam water to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and he drank it. He drank it while standing.
