Entering Mecca - A report that may seem to contradict the report of Ibn Abbas mentioned earlier

Hadith 3813
أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَمَلَ مِنَ الْحَجَرِ إِلَى الْحَجَرِ " ، قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ : " رَمَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْبَيْتِ ثَلاثًا ، وَمَشَى أَرْبَعًا " ، كَذَلِكَ قَالَهُ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ فِي رِوَايَةِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنْهُ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، وَاخْتَصَرَ مَالِكٌ الْخَبَرَ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ أَنَّهُ رَمَلَ ثَلاثًا ، وَمَشَى أَرْبَعًا ، فَكَانَ الرَّمَلُ لِعِلَّةٍ مَعْلُومَةٍ ، وَهِيَ أَنْ يَرَاهُمُ الْمُشْرِكُونَ جُلَدَاءَ ، لا ضَعْفَ بِهِمْ ، فَارْتَفَعَتْ هَذِهِ الْعِلَّةُ ، وَبَقِيَ الرَّمَلُ فَرِضَا عَلَى أُمَّةِ الْمُصْطَفَى صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ .
Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq, may Allah have mercy on him, narrates from his father (Imam Muhammad al-Baqir, may Allah have mercy on him) the statement of Sayyiduna Jabir, may Allah be pleased with him: "The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, performed ramal from the Hajar to the Hajar." (Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, performed ramal around the Ka'bah three times and walked at a normal pace four times. Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated this in the same way as it is transmitted from Sayyiduna Jabir, may Allah be pleased with him, just as his students have narrated it. Whereas Imam Malik narrated this hadith in a brief manner. He did not mention that the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, walked briskly in three circuits and walked at a normal pace in four circuits. So this ramal was due to a specific reason, and that reason was so that the polytheists could see that they were healthy people and there was no weakness among them. When that reason ended, the ruling of that reason remained as an obligation for the Ummah of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, until the Day of Judgment.

Hadith 3814
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الذُّهْلِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ خُثَيْمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لأَصْحَابِهِ حِينَ أَرَادُوا دُخُولَ مَكَّةَ فِي عُمْرَتِهِ بَعْدَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ : " إِنَّ قَوْمَكُمْ غَدًا سَيَرَوْنَكُمْ ، فَلَيَرَوْنَكُمْ جُلَدَاءَ " ، فَلَمَّا دَخَلُوا الْمَسْجِدَ اسْتَلَمُوا الرُّكْنَ ، ثُمَّ رَمَلُوا ، وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَعَهُمْ ، حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغُوا الرُّكْنَ مَشَوْا إِلَى الرُّكْنِ الأَسْوَدِ ، ثُمَّ رَمَلُوا حَتَّى بَلَغُوا الرُّكْنَ ، فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ ثَلاثَ مَرَّاتٍ ، ثُمَّ مَشَى الأَرْبَعَ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: On the occasion of ‘Umrah after Hudaybiyyah, when the companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him) were about to enter Makkah, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to his companions: “Tomorrow, people will see you, so you should appear strong.” When these people entered the mosque, they performed istilam of the Black Stone, then they performed raml. The Prophet (peace be upon him) was also with them, until they reached the Yemeni Corner, then they walked at a normal pace up to the Black Stone, then started running. When they reached the Yemeni Corner (again, they started walking at a normal pace). They did this three times (while in the remaining) four circuits, they walked at a normal pace.
