Hadith 3794
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ الصُّوفِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ أَبُو دَاوُدَ الْمُبَارَكِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نُهِلُّ بِالْحَجِّ ، فَقَدِمَ لأَرْبَعٍ مِنْ ذِي الْحِجَّةِ ، فَصَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الصُّبْحَ بِالْبَطْحَاءِ ، فَلَمَّا صَلَّى ، قَالَ : " مَنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَهَا عَمْرَةً فَلْيَجْعَلْهَا " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: We set out with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) having donned the Ihram for Hajj. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) reached (Makkah Mukarramah) on the fourth of Dhul-Hijjah. He performed the morning prayer in the valley of Batha. When he had completed the prayer, he said: Whoever wishes to make it an Umrah may do so.
