Hadith 3790
أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ سَلَمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي عِكْرِمَةُ ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ وَهُوَ بِالْعَقِيقِ : " أَتَانِي آتٍ مِنْ رَبِّي ، فَقَالَ : صَلِّ فِي هَذَا الْوَادِي ، وَقَالَ : عَمْرَةٌ فِي حَجَّةٍ " .
Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) say at the place of ‘Aqiq: “A messenger from my Lord came to me and said: Perform prayer in this valley, and he informed me that ‘Umrah has been included in Hajj.”
