Hadith 3789
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلانَ بِأَذَنَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الزِّمَّانِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدِ الإِزَارَ ، فَلْيَلْبَسِ السَّرَاوِيلَ ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدِ النَّعْلَيْنِ ، فَلْيَلْبَسِ الْخُفَّيْنِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever does not find an izar (waist-wrapper) should wear trousers, and whoever does not find shoes should wear leather socks.
