Ihram - No blame on wearing leather socks or trousers in ihram if sandals or izar are unavailable
Hadith 3786
أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَوْضِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَخْطُبُ بِعَرَفَاتَ : " مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ ، فَلْيَلْبَسْ خُفَّيْنِ ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ إِزَارًا ، فَلْيَلْبَسْ سَرَاوِيلَ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) delivering a sermon in Arafat, saying: "Whoever does not find shoes should wear leather socks, and whoever does not find an izar (waist-wrapper) should wear trousers."
