Hadith 3784
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ الأَنْصَارِيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّ رَجُلا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : مَا يَلْبَسُ الْمُحْرِمُ مِنَ الثِّيَابِ ؟ فَقَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا يَلْبَسُ الْقَمِيصَ ، وَلا الْعَمَائِمَ ، وَلا السَّرَاوِيلاتِ ، وَلا الْبَرَانِسَ ، وَلا الْخِفَافَ ، إِلا أَحَدٌ لا يَجِدُ النَّعْلَيْنِ ، فَلْيَلْبَسِ الْخُفَّيْنِ ، وَلْيَقْطَعْهُمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ ، وَلا تَلْبَسُوا مِنَ الثِّيَابِ شَيْئًا مَسَّهُ الْوَرْسُ ، وَالزَّعْفَرَانُ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: A man asked the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) what clothes a person in ihram can wear. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He should not wear a shirt, turban, trousers, cap, or leather socks. Whoever does not find shoes may wear leather socks, but he should cut them below the ankles. And do not wear any garment that has been touched with wars or saffron."
Hadith 3785
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْقَطَّانُ بِالرَّقَّةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَزَّانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُلَيَّةَ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ السَّخْتِيَانِيِّ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ إِزَارًا ، فَلْيَلْبَسْ سَرَاوِيلَ ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ ، فَلْيَلْبَسْ خُفَّيْنِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever does not find an izar (lower garment), let him wear trousers, and whoever does not find shoes, let him wear leather socks (moza)."
