Ihram - Command to make a condition in ihram for those intending Hajj while ill
Hadith 3775
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ ، أَنَّ طَاوُسًا أَخْبَرَهُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَلَى ضُبَاعَةَ ، وَهِيَ شَاكِيَةٌ ، فَقَالَتْ : إِنِّي أُرِيدُ الْحَجَّ ، وَأَنَا شَاكِيَةٌ ؟ ، فَقَالَ لَهَا : " حُجِّي ، وَاشْتَرِطِي أَنَّ مَحِلِّيَ حَيْثُ حَبَسْتَنِي " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) went to Lady Duba’ah (may Allah be pleased with her); she was ill. She said: I wish to perform Hajj and I am sick. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: Enter into Ihram for Hajj and stipulate the condition that wherever I am unable to proceed further, I will come out of Ihram.
