Ihram - Clarification that the Prophet (peace be upon him) allowed Dubaa’ah to make a condition in Hajj because she was ill
Hadith 3774
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَلَى ضُبَاعَةَ بِنْتِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ ، وَهِيَ شَاكِيَةٌ ، فَقَالَ لَهَا : " حُجِّي ، وَاشْتَرِطِي أَنَّ مَحِلِّيَ حَيْثُ حَبَسْتَنِي " .
Sayyida Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) went to Sayyida Duba’a bint Zubair bin Abdul Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with her); she was ill. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said to her: You (should enter into the state of Ihram for Hajj) and stipulate this condition that wherever I am unable to proceed further, there I will come out of Ihram.
