Ihram - Recommendation to apply perfume before ihram, following the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith 3766
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ الأَنْصَارِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا ، قَالَتْ : " كُنْتُ أُطَيِّبُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لإِحْرَامِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُحْرِمَ ، وَلِحِلِّهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَطُوفَ بِالْبَيْتِ " .
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I myself applied perfume to the Ihram of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) before he entered into Ihram, and at the time when he took off his Ihram before performing the Tawaf of the House of Allah.
